Not just that but Inter saw their 8-game winning streak come to an end failing to overtake AC Milan and lead the Serie A standings. Both of Sampdoria’s goals were scored by former Inter players but it’s very important to note that Alexis Sanchez had a penalty saved early.
On the other side, AS Roma closed the gap on both Inter and AC Milan after beating Crotone in the midweek round. They are now trailing Inter by 3 points and leaders AC Milan by. In case of a win, they will overtake Inter in the standings, so this clash is a 6-pointer.
The Giallorossi enter this match full of confidence on the back of 3 wins in a row and they will try to extend their winning streak. Alongside Carles Perez and Bryan Cristante, Spanish striker Borja Mayoral was handed a first start of 2021 and took his opportunity, scoring a brace. For the 1st time this season, we saw the spirit of a team that wants to win.
On the other side, Sassuolo returned to winning ways beating Genoa 2-1, overtaking Napoli who shockingly lost to Spezia, and sitting 5th in the standings. Forward Francesco Caputo, who has six goals in 11 Serie appearances this campaign, returned to the side after a spell on the sidelines with an injury but it was Jeremie Boga who impressed with a goal and an assist.
Sassuolo defender Filippo Romagna remains out with a knee injury but the rest of the squad is fully fit which is great news for coach Roberto De Zerbi.
Juventus’ advantage is the quality of the squad and their confidence level after beating AC Milan. Cristiano Ronaldo who showed nothing against AC Milan, will probably show up and contribute on the scoreboard. Sassuolo are superb going forward and we expect them to also find the back of the net, so the over 2.5 goals in the match is our take for the 2nd part of the 2-team parlay.

Bookies offer this category of wager to lure the gambler into a tough situation. For instance, on a 4-team parlay, going 3-1 is no different than going 0-4. You lose in either case. However, if you’d placed 4 individual bets and won 3 while losing 1, you would make a decent chunk of change. But you would have saved yourself a lot of money by betting the combo instead of placing 4 individual bets if you went 0-4.
“Correlated” outcomes are strictly against the rules, which means you cannot benefit from results that are related to one another. For instance, a finesse passing team might be pitted against a strong defensive unit in the Super Bowl. If you pick the latter squad, you cannot place a combo bet on the “under,” since that outcome is more likely to occur if the strong defense controls the contest.

As you can see, for the normal bettor who only hits on 50% of their wagers, trying for a 4-0 (or 3-0, or 2-0) record on the same day is a bad idea. It gets worse the more wagers you add. A 2-teamer isn’t terrible because you expect to hit 1 out of each 3 you bet, and you get rewarded 2.6 to 1. A 3-teamer isn’t that bad either because your expected chances are 7-1, while you get paid 6-1.

I know it’s tempting to try and strike it rich on a big “trifecta,” but the chances are less in your favor as the number of picks goes up. So have fun, but proceed with caution!
